Terms
Last updated 3 November 2026.
These terms cover the Gong Logic Library at read.gonglogic.com and its Android app, and the Gong Logic Shop at shop.gonglogic.com. They are written to be read. Nothing in them takes away a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Who runs this
The library is run by Jeffrey Dick, in Australia. You can write to [email protected], and a person answers.
Your account
An account is free. It needs an email address you can receive mail at, because what it opens waits for you to confirm that address. It is for one person. You can delete it at any time from your account page or in the app, and the privacy policy says what that removes.
What is free and what costs money
The subscribe page always says what is open to anyone, what a free account opens, and what a subscription adds. If we ever move something from free to paid, a subscription you already hold is not affected, and anything you were reading free stays open until the date we announce on that page.
Subscriptions
A subscription costs US$2.99 a month or US$29.99 a year, in US dollars, including any tax. Your bank may add a charge of its own if it converts the currency. It renews by itself at the end of each period until you cancel. We email before an annual renewal.
You can cancel at any time from your account page. You keep everything until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing further is charged. Refunds and cancelling has the detail.
If the price changes, we email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, and you can cancel before then.
Payments are sold through Link, the merchant of record service run by Stripe, which also collects and pays the tax due and sends your receipts. Your card details go to Stripe and we never see them. Link cannot sell to customers in some countries, including mainland China.
Buying from the shop
The shop sells downloads of printable sheet music, some with practice recordings. Prices are in US dollars and include any tax. You do not need an account. Once you have paid, your files are on the order page and the link to it is emailed to you, so keep that email. An order's files can be downloaded again whenever you need them, up to a generous limit that stops a link being passed around.

What you buy is for your own use: to print, play, perform and practise with. Please do not share the files or resell them.
The library's content
The stories, courses and flashcards are for your own learning. Please do not copy them out to sell or republish. Some works are in copyright in some countries, so a title may not be available everywhere.
We work to get every translation, definition and reading right, and we correct mistakes when told, but language learning material can contain errors, so do not rely on it where a mistake could matter, such as medical or legal matters. The site's feedback box is the quickest way to tell us.
The forum and feedback
Be decent to other people. We can remove posts, and close accounts, that harass people, spam, or break the law.
If something goes wrong
We try to keep the library running but cannot promise it never goes down. If we close it, or end a paid feature, we refund the unused part of any subscription. Beyond the rights consumer law gives you, which we cannot exclude, our liability for anything arising from the library is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Changes and the law that applies
If we change these terms in a way that matters we say so on the site, and by email if you have a subscription. The laws of Australia apply, and you can also rely on the consumer protections of the country you live in.
